Friday - Week 3

Today M got up and out of bed because we told her she got to see Austin today. So we made it out the door and to daycare and work. T had a golf tournament this afternoon so he ran home to pack a few things in between work and golf. I picked up Mom for lunch and we met Janelle & Austin at the Falls for lunch.

Austin was very excited to see Grandma and myself. Grandma had to go back to work while the three of us went shopping for the baby shower on Sunday. Then Austin and I ran home to put our suitcases in the car before picking up the girls at daycare (that way M for sure took a nap today). M was still sleepy when we came in to get her but by the time we got out to the car her and Austin were giggling and playing like the best of buds. We drove down to G&G Z's (headquarters for the weekend) and visited/played until it was time to get changed and into Beresford for Lori & Tony's wedding rehearsal. Both M and Austin did great! They held hands and walked down the aisle and M did great standing by cousin Lisa (I think it helped she babysat just last week). Other than Austin finding a mulberry tree and M not quite sure what to think about cousin Luke it was a success. Then we drove out to Roy & Kays for supper. They had fantastic food and dessert. M thought the cheesecake was a cake of pure frosting and loved every bite of it! G&G Z "buzzed" the party in the airplane with the doors off. They flew by three times as Shana wanted a picture and couldn't run fast enough to get the camera. We asked M if she saw Grandma in the plane, she replied, "no, is Grandpa going to pick her up?" We all bust out laughing as I told her I hope not because that meant Grandma fell out the door opening.

By 9pm we knew it was past time to get the Kids to bed as they had a big day tomorrow. After they went to sleep Janelle, Greg, T & I went back up to Roy's and had a nice visit with Lori & Tony and the gang.
